Luka Modric will also Be Leaving Tottenham Hotspur After Harry Redknapp

The Mid-Fielder Of Spurs Luka Modric Is Set to leave, And Has been Linked Heavily To Manchester United And Real Madrid.Modric is believed to be Man Utd manager Sir Alex Ferguson's top summer transfer target, while Chelsea and Manchester City have also shown interest in him over the past year. The 26-year-old is widely expected to be on the move during the summer transfer window as he is keen on joining a club who will be playing in the Champions League next season.Spain's assistant coach Paco Jimenez last week claimed Barcelona scouts were keeping tabs on the Croatia international during Euro 2012, while Modric's friend and former international team-mate, Mate Bilic, at the weekend fuelled speculation that a move to Spain is likely to happen this summer by claiming the midfielder is keen on securing a move to La Liga. However Man Utd are still thought to be front runners in the race to sign Modric, and Corluka, who is expected to leave White Hart Lane this summer and turn his loan spell at Bayer Leverkusen into a permanent deal, believes the former Dinamo Zagreb star could also be on his way out of north London."We all know it will be very difficult for Spurs to keep Luka because they do not have Champions League football next season," he said."Luka is one of the best players in the world and the kind who wants to play in the best competition."Not getting into the Champions League will cost Spurs next season. Even though they were unlucky to get fourth place and still not be there."I have followed the stories about Luka moving and that is just a reflection of what a great player he is."He showed some loyalty by staying at Spurs last season when other teams wanted him. I only wish Luka the best. If he wants to go fine."
