Chelsea Won't Step Down Till They Sign Hulk:
Brazilian Sensation Hulk is being followed By Chelsea as They plan an amazing Offer at deadline day.Hulk has set his sights on a switch to Stamford Bridge and his club are willing to let him leave for around £38m despite an £80m release clause in his contract. It is understood that Chelsea officials in Monaco next week will meet representatives from both clubs. The European champions travel to the millionaires' playground for their Super Cup clash with Atletico Madrid. The match takes place on Friday night - just a couple of hours before the transfer window closes.
Few Days And Luka Modric will become Real's Player:
According to Dinamo Zagreb director of football Zoran Mamic, Luka Modric will complete his move to Real Madrid from Tottenham in the next few days.Spurs chairman Daniel Levy turned down a reported £40million bid last summer from Chelsea, but it appears they will now accept a reduced fee for the 26 year old."You read many things in the media but from the information that I have, Luka will move to Real Madrid for sure," Mamic told 24sata."I've heard it's almost done, so I don't have any doubts Luka will play for Real Madrid next season."It is just a question of when the official announcement will be."
Dimtar Berbatov has been targeted by Fiorentina and are hoping they can push through a deal for Manchester United’s Dimitar Berbatov. The Bulgarian striker is almost certain to leave Old Trafford this August and La Viola are looking to bring him to Florence so he can play beside the highly-rated Stevan Jovetic. With the signing of Robin van Persie, it appears as though there is no place for Berbatov in Sir Alex Ferguson’s line-up and an exit could be the only thing that will get him playing regular first team football again. It is believed that Fiorentina are only prepared to pay just under half of the £8million United want for the former Tottenham star but Ferguson is set to allow Berba to leave for a cut price after a personal plea.
Chelsea won't take 'no' for an answer over their pursuit of Bayer Leverkusen striker Andre Schurrle.Chelsea are set to continue their summer spending by clinching the £23.5m signing of German striker Schurrle. With the west Londoners going for a far more creative approach this season, Schurrle who can play as a forward or winger fits the new blueprint as he has been acclaimed for his dribbling skills.“We’re probably a bit light in attack,” admitted Di Matteo yesterday.
Euro 2012 Performance By Portugal Still Bothering C.Ronaldo:
There are concerns around Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo over his mental state.El Mundo Deportivo says Ronaldo is yet to recover from Portugal's failure at the Euros, which has contributed to his dismal start to the new season. Indeed, there's claims he already feels burned out barely a week into the campaign.Adding to Ronaldo's problems is an alleged love triangle involving himself, long-time girlfriend Irina Shayk and Portuguese TV presenter Rita Pereira. It's claimed Ronaldo's Mum, Dolores, never has accepted Irina and would prefer to see her Cristiano with Rita.
Chelsea Ready To splash the cash On Cavani For the last time:
Roberto Di Matteo will make a £35million swoop to bring Napoli ace Edinson Cavani to Chelsea. The Blues boss is desperate to bring in another striker before the transfer deadline on August 31 and wants the Uruguay international. But if the deal stalls Di Matteo could splash out £45m on his second choice Porto’s Brazilian striker Hulk.Cavani and Hulk have both been long-standing targets for Chelsea. It is understood Blues will hold talks with both clubs next week when Chelsea’s top brass are in Monaco for the Champions League draw.Di Matteo said: “I don’t know if there will be new arrivals. We’re probably a bit light in attacking positions.”Chelsea will take on Atletico Madrid in the European Supercup in Monaco on Friday week. Before that they are expected to have completed deals for Marseille’s £7m full-back Cesar Azpilicueta and Wigan’s £9m-rated Victor Moses. But winger Gael Kakuta is likely to be moving out of Stamford Bridge going to Marseille on loan.Chelsea can go top of the Premier League for the first time in almost two years tonight by beating newly promoted Reading at Stamford Bridge.
Andre Santos Arrested Because of high speed Car Driving:
The Arsenal defender André Santos was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving a couple of miles from the club's training ground the day before their opening match of the season. It is understood that the 29-year-old Brazilian was apprehended by officers who noticed a car being driven erratically by a driver who failed to stop. The Sun reported a car was being driven at speeds of up to 130mph in a high-speed chase. It is thought that Santos, who was on the bench for the opener against Sunderland, was behind the wheel of a powerful sports car.He was picked up by officers close to Arsenal's training ground in London Colney in Hertfordshire, just inside the M25.A Metropolitan police spokesman said: "Shortly after 9.30am on Friday August 17, a 29-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and failing to stop for police on the A1, near to Junction 22 of the M25."Officers' attention was drawn to the vehicle due to the manner of its driving. The man has been bailed to return at a date in mid-September to a North London police station."The man was not breathalysed, police added.
A Month Injury For Sergio Aguero:
There were fears the Argentinian had suffered major ligament damage when he fell awkwardly early in the 3-2 season-opening win.But a scan has found no major damage, and City are now optimistic the 24 year-old will be back in contention for the trip to Stoke on Sept 15."I don't think Sergio will be out for long and we are hoping he will be back after the international break which is obviously fantastic news for him and for us," manager Roberto Mancini said."We were very worried a couple of days ago because we feared he could be out for six months or maybe even more which would have been very bad news."Aguero, who scored 23 Premier League goals for City last season, including the dramatic injury-time winner against QPR to snatch the title away from rivals United on the closing day, was carried off 14 minutes into Sunday's match after falling under a fair challenge from Nathanial Clyne.Later that night, Aguero sought to ease fears by saying the injury was not as bad as it had appeared, although no further announcement had been made by the club regarding his condition until today."It looked like a very strange injury at the time and because it was his knee, we were obviously very concerned so this news is a relief for everybody," Mancini added. There was further good news for City on the injury front today, with both Gareth Barry and Micah Richards also ahead of schedule.Barry suffered an abdominal injury that ruled him out of Euro 2012, but is now back in training and working to catch up after missing the pre-season, while Richards is making progress after suffering an ankle injury while playing for Team GB at the Olympics."Gareth will also be ready after the international break," Mancini said."He hasn't played any games for almost four months and he needs to build his fitness up, but he is training again and I don't see him being out for any longer than one month and hopefully, maybe just a couple of weeks."Micah's injury is more serious and he could be out a little longer, but having said that, with rest and the right treatment, we are hopeful he could be ready in about one month, which again would be great news."
