Grigor Dimitrov Has Fixed His Place Into the Semis Of AEGON Champion-Ship By Beating Kevin Anderson 4-6, 6-4, 6-3 in a rain interrupted quarter-final at The Queen’s Club. In the opener, Anderson exerted his experience over the world ranked 72 youngster and it seemed that the big-serving South African, who produced a clinical two sets tie-break display to unseat former semi-finalist Feliciano Lopez in his previous match, was in a comfortable position to win the match. However, the now dubbed ‘Baby Federer’ started to come into his own in the second set and served consistently to even the match. In the decider, Dimitrov stepped up his serving to another level winning 84% of points off his first service and in just over two hours progressed through into the last four.Dimitrov who had not dropped at set all week, could not hold back the tears as the crowd applauded his success.Yen-Hsun Lu saw a day of both success and disappointment on Friday.Lu began his campaign to reach the quarter-finals against Janko Tipsarevic (SRB) on Thursday and claimed the opening set 6-3 before the match was postponed overnight due to poor weather conditions. On Friday, as the second set got underway, it seemed that Tipsarevic who is ranked 8 in the world, was in better form. The Serbian, who has never lost to Lu in their two previous meetings, stormed back into the match taking the set 6-2. However the third was a completely different story.World ranked 57 Lu served extremely well, winning 83% of points off his first serve. Both players had chances to break but neither could convert seeing the match to a tie-break. Again it was a close contest but it was 28 year-old Lu who clinched it 6-3. 2-6, 7-6(5).Lu then played again on Centre Court against sixth seed Marin Cilic of Croatia. After Cilic won the opening set 6-4, Lu retired when trailing 2-0 in the second.Elsewhere, tenth seed David Nalbandian (ARG) defeated Frenchman Edouard Roger-Vasselin 4-6, 7-5, 6-3.
