The Hindustan Times Thursday said that Tam Media Research, which is the country s top rating agency, has confirmed an initial lack of interest in the fifth season. The fall for this year's IPL, which runs from April 4-May 27, mirrors the decline in Indian crowds. Television ratings for the first six games of the Indian Premier League season are 19 per cent down on last year, local media has reported. Cumulative reach, which is the number of people who watch a program for at least a minute, has gone down by 12 per cent from 101 million last year to 90 million this year. The fall for this year s IPL, which runs from April 4-May 27, mirrors the decline in Indian crowds last year, blamed on viewer fatigue owing to the preceding World Cup.

Re-match Amir Khan v Lamont Peterson, May 19 2012
The 25-year-old Englishman will face Peterson on May 19 in Las Vegas for the International Boxing Federation and World Boxing Association light-welterweight titles after losing them in controversial manner to the American last December in Washington. Peterson, 28, won 113-112 on two judges scorecards while the other had Khan a 115-110 winner. Without the deductions, Khan would have kept the titles.
