Real Madrid Knock-out LA Galaxy In Exhibition Match:
Real Madrid scored early and often in outclassing the Los Angeles Galaxy on Thursday, opening a four-game U.S. exhibition tour with a 5-1 victory over Major League Soccer's champion.Angel Di Maria set up Gonzalo Higuain's opener after just 85 seconds and made it 2-0 nine minutes later for the Spanish champions, who added goals through Jose Maria Callejon in the 36th minute, Alvaro Morata four minutes into the second half and Alex Fernandez near the finish.Brazilian defender David Junior Lopes scored the Galaxy's goal in the 23rd, from a David Beckham free kick which was headed toward the goalmouth. The game drew 30,317, a record for a football game at Home Depot Center.Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho called the match a "training session for us and for them.""Galaxy is a kind of team that is not too worried about losing, 4-1, or losing 1-0," he said. "They're just worried about playing, playing well. Play their game, let us play, and in this moment of the season, it's the most important thing for us."The Spaniards brought on several of their biggest stars  including Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema and Mesut Ozil for the second half, but LA's defence limited their chances. The Galaxy also changed their entire team for the second half, with Beckham, Landon Donovan and Robbie Keane among those departing.Higuain provided the early lead when Di Maria's pass from the right flank caught Lopes flat-footed, and Di Maria made it 2-0 in the 11th, cutting inside from the right flank and blasting a left-footed shot between rookie Bryan Gaul's legs and past L.A. goalkeeper Josh Saunders.Lopes halved the deficit but Callejon finished from Higuain's defence-splitting pass to complete a threepass, full-field sequence.Alvaro Morata tallied four minutes into the second half from an Esteban Granero chip, and Fernandez added a fifth with six minutes to play. Ronaldo nearly added another in the 86th, but his shot was cleared off the line.Real Madrid's tour continues with games Sunday against Mexican champion Santos Laguna in Las Vegas, Wednesday against Italian runner-up AC Milan at Yankee Stadium, and Aug. 11 against Scottish titlist Celtic in Philadelphia.

Santi Cazorla To become New Signing Of Arsenal,Fergie Insulted,Nani Targeted By RM

Santi Cazorla Near To wear Arsenal Kit:
Santi Cazorla's Deal is almost done to Arsenal From Malaga, is set to become Arsenal’s record signing after undergoing a medical last night. The Spanish international winger, 27, is due to seal a move from Malaga for £16million, rising to £20m.It will beat the £15m Arsenal paid Zenit St Petersburg for Andrey Arshavin, with Cazorla agreeing a four-year deal. The Gunners also hope to bring in Real Madrid playmaker Nuri Sahin on loan.

Alex Ferguson Insulted By Glazers:
ALEX FERGUSON says he is “insulted” by claims he backs the Glazer family’s ownership of Manchester United because of personal gain.It has been suggested Fergie stands to profit from the floating of some shares on the New York Stock Exchange. He said: “In regards to suggestions I have praised the Glazer family because I stand to financially benefit from the proposed Initial Public Offering, there is not a single grain of truth in this allegation.“I do not receive any payments, directly or indirectly, from the IPO.“Ultimately, I run the football side of this club and in order to do this, you need backing from above.“The Glazer family have let me get on with my job, there is no interference or obstruction, only support."Ferguson has also confirmed skipper Nemanja Vidic will be part of United’s tour of Scandinavia.Vidic remained in Manchester when they headed off to South Africa and China last month. But the Serbian has now completed his recovery from a cruciate operation and will bolster Ferguson’s defensive with both Jonny Evans and Chris Smalling are on the sidelines.

Real Madrid Target Man Utd Player Nani:
Real Madrid are reportedly lining up a surprise swoop for Manchester United winger Nani.Nani, whose contract expires in 2014, has yet to agree a new deal Old Trafford, despite Manchester United’s desire to extend his stay at the club. And according to protransfers.ru, Real Madrid are poised to capitalise on Nani’s failure to agree a new contract by testing United’s resolve with a £19.7m offer for the 25-year-old.The Spanish champions believe their proposal could be boosted by the fact that Nani’s agent Jorge Mendes also represents Cristiano Ronaldo and Bernabeu boss Jose Mourinho. However, free-spending Russian side Anzhi Makhachkala are also interested in Nani, and they’ve earmarked the Portuguese winger as the latest high-profile target to join the club.

Rafael Nadal Injury Sets Him Out Of Toronto Open

The Injury Of Rafael Nadal Sets him Out Of Toronto Open. Rafael Nadal has withdrawn from next week's Toronto Masters Series hardcourt tournament, the Spanish world number three confirmed on Thursday. The 26-year-old's announcement follows his decision not to defend his title at the London Olympics, and throws into doubt his participation in the US Open which gets underway in Flushing Meadow on August 27."Hi all, wanted to let you know that I won't be playing Toronto this year," Nadal wrote on his Twitter account."I am not ready to play and I hope to be back in 2014 at that great tournament that has always treat me very well. I am continuing with my recup and practice. Thanks!"Nadal pulled out of the Games after claiming he was "not in condition" to compete following a recurrence of the knee problems which have troubled him for several years. He had struggled with the injury throughout his French Open title-winning campaign and looked well short of his best in a stunning Wimbledon second round defeat against unheralded Czech Lukas Rosol.Nadal added in a statement: "Coming to Toronto is always one of the highlights of my season so I'm very disappointed that I can't play there this year."I was planning on coming to Toronto and did everything I could to be ready but I still need some more time to recover."It will be the first time since his debut appearance in 2004 that Nadal will miss the Canadian Masters event which he won in 2005 and 2008.Additional main draw withdrawals include Spaniards David Ferrer and Fernando Verdasco and France's Gael Monfils.

Final Bid For Moses and new bid for Cesar by Chelsea,Man-City offers Astonishing Bid For Luiz

Chelsea Have Announced Their Final Bid For Moses:
Chelsea are preparing a final £7.5 million big for Wigan Athletic forward Victor Moses reports Dailymail. This will be the fourth attempt by Chelsea for the 21 year old. All their previous bids were rejected as wigan demand £ 10 million for their key man. Moses who joined wigan from Crystal Palace in 2009, has one more year left in his contract.  Blues consider Moses as a replacement for Kalou, who left the club at the end of last season. Chelsea have already signed three players this season and Ron gourlay mentioned yesterday that Roman Abramovich's spending spree is not yet over. He said the blues will sign when the right player is available for the right price. As the season is about to kick off in few weeks time, we can expect a much faster response from wigan for this up coming bid.

Chelsea Plan new Bid For Cesar Azpilicueta:
Chelsea have come up with a new £7million bid for Marseille right back Cesar Azpilicueta. Last week, we saw our first bid worth £5.4 million rejected by the french side. Cesar is the leading target of Chelsea as a replacement for Jose Bosigwa, who was released by the club at the end of last season. The 22 year old Spanish International, was a part of Spain's Olympic squad, and Marseille demand £8 million for Azpilicueta. The new bid by Chelsea will be good enough to win the signature of Cesar, as the French side is willing to sell the player for the right price. The club's sporting director Jose Ango mentioned last week, " Everybody has to sell before buying, In effect, It could be M'Bia or Azpi."Chelsea are also linked with Blackburn Rover's Marin Olsson and Lille's Debuchy. Debuchy is also linked with Newcastle United, however Lille president Michael Seydoux told L'Equipe "I have decided that Mathieu Debuchy will remain at LOSC". Meanwhile Rover's Steave Kean warned the suitors of Martin Olsson that the player is not for sale. Chelsea were one of the hot favorites to land the Swedish international.By far Chelsea is leading the race among their rivals in terms  of new signings this summer, as they have already secured the service of four young talented players and Ron Gourlay said week that Chelsea's spending spree is not over yet. We can expect more signings by the blues in coming days.

Man-City Prepare Astonishing Bid to Lure David Luiz:
EPL champions Manchester city are planning for a  £35 million bid for Chelsea defender David Luiz reports Italian website mercato365. David Luiz is one of fans favorite at Stamford Bridge and there is no doubt over his talent and abilities. On the other side, City who are yet to make a major move during this transfer window is looking forward to strengthen their defensive wall. Rumors says K.Toure is willing to leave city and Mancini is in search for a perfect replacement. Captain Kompany and defender Lescott were the most successful pair for city during last season and the introduction of Luiz will be a great addition for the blue side of Manchester. Luiz, who joined Chelsea 18 months ago for a massive £26 million, has made 52 appearances for the blues. He has registered 5 goals and 8 assists in his name since joining the club.  This news can only be considered as a rumor. There are many Big clubs waiting for Luiz's signature such as Barcelona and Real Madrid, But a move for the Brazilian  out of the London club will not happen this season. The 25 year old has won two major trophies with Blues since joining two seasons ago. The player is very happy with his life at Chelsea. Believe it or not, the Italian site must have had a huge rush of visitors after reporting this news.

DAY 6: London Olympics 2012 Results

Zhang Jike completed the table tennis Grand Slam as Wang Hao endured more Olympics heartache at the London 2012 Games.Wang ended with silver at the two previous showpieces, in Beijing 2008 and Athens 2004.And the 28-year-old failed to go one step further again, meaning he will likely end his glittering career without winning all of the biggest prizes in the sport. Both athletes entered the final knowing they could become only the fourth man to complete the Slam of World Cup, World Championships and Olympic success.Zhang follows in the footsteps of countrymen Liu Guoliang - who now coaches China's men - and Kong Linghui as well as Sweden's Jan-Ove Waldner. The 22-year-old Zhang came out on top, romping to a 4-1 (18-16, 11-5, 11-5, 10-12, 13-11) success and, in the process, becoming the youngest player to achieve the feat.As a result, China is now halfway to its target of winning every table tennis gold on offer, with the team events to start tomorrow.
