Andy Murray Has Been Seeded 3RD In The Olympics after Rafael Nadal's Knee Problem Makes Him Out of Olympics.Andy Murray is Britain's only seeded player for the Olympic tennis tournament, which begins at Wimbledon on Saturday. In the absence of the injured Rafael Nadal, the gold medallist in Beijing four years ago, Murray is seeded third for the men's singles, behind world No1 Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic.David Ferrer, the leading Spaniard in Nadal's absence, is fourth with Jo-Wilfried Tsonga fifth, while Tomas Berdych, Janko Tipsarevic and Juan Martín del Potro make up the top eight. Unlike at the grand slams, where there are 32 seeds in a 128-strong field, the Olympic singles tournament is a 64-man field featuring 16 seeds. The world No1 Victoria Azarenka heads the women's seedings, with Agnieszka Radwanska second followed by Maria Sharapova and the Wimbledon champion Serena Williams.Andy Murray will Face Wawrinka in the 1st Round.
