United fans don't want Lampard

Manchester United fans do not want Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard

Manchester United fans do not want Sir Alex Ferguson to buy Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard during the transfer window.
It was reported on Friday that the Barclays Premier League champions were considering a bid for Lampard as Ferguson looks to bring in midfield reinforcements.
Lampard is no longer a guaranteed starter for Chelsea and has struggled to hold down a regular staring place under new manager Andre Villas-Boas. The 33-year-old has, then, been frequently linked with a move away from west London, and it seemed as though Manchester had emerged as a shock possible destination.
Ferguson, though, has dismissed these reports as pure speculation, and insists Lampard will not be moving to Old Trafford.
This will seemingly come as good news for United supporters, who responded in their thousands when asked whether or not they would like to see Lampard sign for the club.  Nevertheless, the need for added dynamism in the United midfield is clear, although Ferguson remains coy over whether or not he will enter the transfer market this month.
